General troubleshooting for the Pendant

Pendant is not pairing

Reset iOS Bluetooth

  1. Force quit the app.

  2. Toggle iOS Bluetooth off and back on.

  3. Re-open the app and go through the app's onboarding again to pair your Pendant.

If prompted from the app, factory reset and 'forget' Pendant;

Note: A factory reset will delete any recordings that have not been synced to the app.

  1. From your iOS Bluetooth settings, press the blue i icon and "Forget this device".

    1. If you do not see the blue i icon, restart your iPhone.

  2. Close the Limitless app and try to pair one more time.

Transcript syncing is off

Force quit the app

  1. Open the App Switcher.

  2. Swipe up on the app to quit.

  3. Re-open the app and your transcripts should begin syncing again.

How do I factory reset my Pendant?

Note: A factory reset will delete any recordings that have not been synced to the app.

  1. Turn the pendant on (white recording light visible).

  2. Tap the button once, then immediately press and hold.

  3. After about 8 seconds, the white light will disappear. At this point, release the button.

  4. After about 5 seconds, you will see a purple light show up for a few seconds. This means that the factory reset was successful.
