Unfortunately, when using Bluetooth with any recording app on Mac, you'll likely encounter a 'fuzzy sound' because the system adjusts audio quality for voice isolation. This happens because Bluetooth has two modes. The first mode is for listening to higher-quality audio. The second mode is for both speaking through the microphone and listening to audio. When Bluetooth switches to the second mode, audio quality is reduced until the microphone is no longer in use. You can learn more here.

To capture audio with normal sound quality, change to system mic or wired headphones. Note: on the Mac app, we will automatically use the input/output that your Mac is set to.
